Thank you to everyone for turning in permission forms and t-shirt orders. We know you have been inundated with a lot of paper work and requests for money. It’s all part of the beginning of the school year, and hopefully will diminish soon. We appreciate your patience and quick responses.
Classwork was returned today. Ask your child where they made their mistakes and if they know what they did incorrectly.
After warm up, students worked in pairs to review their spelling words. We then played Sparkle (ask your child about it) to review as a group. We took our spelling test.
Math today was interactive. They had tiles of 0-9 and had to use them to answer worded questions (How many are in a dozen?, What is one more than a quartet?, ). The questions have both language arts, number understanding, and critical thinking.
For Social Studies we got more notes cut and ready for our foldable and our map lessons for next week.
We have created a SUMDOG class if any of our students want to practice their math facts at home. We cannot post the logins on the blog, and we have not gotten our Password Tracker so students do not have them yet. If you want the login for your child to practice at home, please e-mail Ms. Hess.
We earned Fun Friday and ended the day interacting with our friends.
